Celebrate Earth Day Every Day
When you select your camera gear or any product, you might be considering more than just the item in front of you. This Earth Day, we want to share some of the things ProMaster has done to improve our product sustainability and support a more eco-friendly world. From moving towards packaging that eliminates the single use plastic to products that are made without forever chemicals (PFAs), here are some of the ways your camera store’s favorite brand is doing their part.
Eliminating Plastic in Packaging
For the past few years, ProMaster has been working to reduce single use plastic in our product packaging. This means that with every product we introduce to the market, we’re taking a closer look at every single product packaging for ways to improve. You can see it with the new packaging on our camera wraps or the way our Basis filters are packaged. Even our new batteries, dually chargers, and other camera accessories are being packaged in a way that eliminates the use of more plastic. Less new plastic in the world now equals a cleaner world in the future.
Removing Forever Chemicals from Our Products
With the emerging information on the harmful effects of forever chemicals, also known as PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), we decided to find better fabrics for our shoulder bags and backpacks. Our Blue Ridge 2.0 and Cityscape 2.0 bags are all made from materials free of forever chemicals. We’re committed to manufacturing in a way that supports a more sustainable world.

The best part of Earth Day is taking a moment to celebrate the world around us. Pack up your gear and get out there to enjoy all that the world has to offer. Don’t Forget to Do Your Part
When you go out on a shoot, do your part to leave the world as you found it. Clean up any trash or debris, be mindful of local plants and animals, and help make the earth a better place. “Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints.” The world is a better place when we all work together to make better decisions for our planet and our future.
